Product use

Disinfectants of different concentrations:

Alcohol above 99.5% (volume fraction) is called anhydrous alcohol. Application in biology: pigment in chloroplast can be dissolved in organic solvent absolute ethanol (or acetone), so absolute ethanol can be used to extract pigment in chloroplast.   95% alcohol is used to wipe the UV lamp. This kind of alcohol is commonly used in hospitals, but only for cleaning camera lens in families.   70% - 75% alcohol is used for disinfection. This is because too much alcohol will form a protective film on the surface of bacteria to prevent it from entering the body of bacteria, and it is difficult to kill bacteria completely. If the alcohol concentration is too low, it can enter the bacteria, but it can't coagulate the protein in the body, and it can't kill the bacteria completely. Among them, 75% alcohol had the best disinfection effect.   40% - 50% alcohol can prevent bedsore. The back, waist and buttocks of long-term bedridden patients can cause bedsore due to long-term pressure. For example, when massaging, pour a little 40% - 50% alcohol into the hands and massage the pressed parts of patients evenly, the purpose of promoting local blood circulation and preventing bedsore formation can be achieved.   25% - 50% alcohol can be used for physical antipyretic. High fever patients can use it to wipe the body, to achieve the purpose of cooling. Wiping the skin with alcohol can dilate the blood vessels of the skin, increase the heat dissipation capacity of the skin, evaporate and absorb heat with alcohol, reduce the surface temperature of the diseased body, and relieve the symptoms

Note: alcohol concentration should not be too high, otherwise it may irritate the skin and absorb a lot of water from the epidermis.

Beverage products

Ethanol is the main component of wine (the content is related to the type of wine).

Note: the alcohol in the daily drinking wine is not the alcohol added, but the alcohol obtained by microbial fermentation. Of course, according to the types of microorganisms used, there will be acetic acid or sugar and other related substances.

Organic materials

Ethanol is also a basic organic chemical raw material. It can be used to produce acetaldehyde, ether, ethyl acetate, ethylamine and other chemical raw materials. It is also used to produce solvents, dyes, coatings, detergents and other products.

Automobile fuel

Ethanol can be used as automobile fuel or mixed with gasoline as mixed fuel.

Yajin sweet sorghum ethanol accounts for 10% of gasoline in China. Ethanol gasoline has been sold in the United States for more than 20 years.
